Please Note: All scholarships are subject to approval and availability of funds and are awarded on a rolling basis.
To apply for a scholarship, enter the scholarship name (ie. Student Discount) in the "Name of Scholarship Requested" field on either the online or paper registration forms. You will receive an emailed invoice reflecting awarded scholarship funds once your regsitration has been received and processed. All supplemental materials for a scholarship (i.e. letters of support, proof of membership, etc.) are due at the time of registration and can be emailed to Jennifer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
IPSC Scholarship Fund
The IPSC Scholarship Fund is an on-going initiative to raise funds that are exclusively used to provide scholarships for IPSC courses. If you would like to contribute to the IPSC Scholarship Fund please donate at crowdrise.com/campbellcenter.
Applicants must submit one letter of support during time of registration.
Scholarships will be available on a rolling basis as more funds are received.
FAIC Scholarships are NOT available in 2017.
The Foundation of the American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works has generoulsy supported IPSC's mission for several years by offering a limited number of scholarships. AIC individual members in good standing may be eligible for up to $300 in scholarship funds to take Conservation Refresher courses at IPSC.
Proof of current AIC membership is required.
NEH Preservation and Access Education and Training
NEH Scholarships are currently unavailable.
Through generous funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities, IPSC is able to offer scholarships of varying amounts. Applicants must work or volunteer at a US non-profit collecting instutition. These scholarships are available based on grant funding and may not be available every year.
NEH Preservation Assistance Grant for Smaller Institutions
The NEH offers $6,000 in assistance grants for small to mid-size institutions. Applicants may request support to send staff members who work with humanities collections to workshops and training courses that focus on the care of collections.

Illinois Humanities Council Technical Assistance Grant
The Illinois Humanities Council offers $500 technical assistance grants which may be used toward IPSC workshops that are taken to help with projects at their institution. Applications must come from Illinois non-profit organizations (not individuals) with operating budgets of less than $250,000. Most IPSC courses may qualify for the grant.
Illinois Archival Professional Development Scholarships
The Illinois State Historical Records Advisory Board (ISHRAB) is offering up to $200 scholarships to Illinois archivists and archival volunteers to attend a professional archival workshop, seminar, or conference held in Illinois (or an online professional archival development course) to enhance skills for appraising, capturing, preserving and providing access to electronic records. These funds are provided by a State Board Programming Grant from the National Historical Publications and Records Commission.
